Accessibility statement.
Our approach
This statement applies to thehayloftatbarton.com.
We want this website to be simple, calm and easy to use for as many people as possible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards and we review the site as it develops.
That means the site should work across common browsers and devices, support zoom, use clear headings and contrast, and be usable with a keyboard and screen reader for the main journeys.
Known limitations
We know some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. In particular:
- the photo lightbox’s keyboard support continues to be improved
- some decorative images may not always have the most helpful alternative text
- embedded or third-party components may behave differently from the rest of the site
We are continuing to improve these areas.
Reporting problems
If you find an accessibility issue, or need information on this website in another format, please email thehayloftatbarton@gmail.com. If you can, include the page link and a short description of the problem so we can fix it more quickly.
For details of how the property itself is reached (the Hayloft is upstairs in a stable-style building, accessed by a flight of external stairs), see the FAQ.
Compliance status
This website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, because of the known limitations listed above.
